NOTES:
For ARMY units, there is NO second pivot and the Half Steps are simply 15-inch, heel-down steps.
For AIR FORCE units, ALL cadets will remain in the Half Step and “Forward, MARCH” should be given once the final cadet has obtained alignment/cover and entered the Half Step. Replace “30-inch step” with 24-inch step and “15-inch step” with 12-inch step.
FOR COLUMN LEFT, THE MOVEMENTS & NUMBERS ARE THE SAME BUT THE FEET ARE REVERSED (i.e. first Quick Time step after half-stepping occurs on the RIGHT foot vs. the LEFT.)
FOR COLUMN HALF MOVEMENTS, the numbers are exactly HALF (i.e. second squad/element aligns on 3, outboard squad/element aligns on 5.)
